This is a great opportunity to join our team, Employer of the Year Housing Heroes awards 2025. We’re looking for an experienced Health & Safety professional to support the safety and wellbeing of our 4,000 colleagues. Reporting to the Health & Safety Manager, the role provides guidance across the business and maintains high standards of safety.

The successful candidate will take ownership of health and safety documentation, data, reporting, and investigation, ensuring everything is accurate, consistent, and compliant with internal processes. They will conduct inspections and safety reviews, promoting consistent practices across teams and embedding Clarion’s safety culture. A strong emphasis is placed on enhancing data capture and driving continuous improvement.

Daily responsibilities include reviewing accident and incident reports to ensure investigations are proportionate and statutory reporting obligations are fulfilled. Developing guidance materials and designing and delivering training support colleagues to follow safe working processes. The role keeps up to date with legislation and best practice, sharing relevant updates proactively.

This hybrid role has a base at offices in Stevenage – Kings Court or Norwich – Reed House, with national travel required and access to own vehicle. Travel expenses will be reimbursed. Salaries are just the starting point, with benefits that support you and your lifestyle.

Requirements

  • Hold a NEBOSH Level 3 Certificate (or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation
  • Confident applying knowledge in a repairs environment
  • Solid understanding of risk management
  • Ability to work within established policies and procedures
