About this role
Norfolk Multifamily seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee cabinetry and countertop projects across multi-family developments in the Orlando area. This role combines technical expertise with leadership to manage subcontractors and coordinate logistics in new construction and occupied unit environments. Serve as the central point of contact ensuring projects complete on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.
Conduct field measurements, produce shop drawings, interpret architectural plans, and create material orders in BisTrack for installation planning. Coordinate subcontractors, maintain schedules in Buildertrend, and resolve material delivery and jobsite access challenges. Handle day-to-day operations across multiple active projects efficiently.
Serve as primary contact for customers, subcontractors, and internal teams on installation matters. Manage scope changes, obtain customer signoffs, and provide updates to Senior Construction Manager on milestones and issues. Ensure organized documentation and timely punch list resolutions.
Review subcontractor invoices, enforce safety standards and building codes, and lead field teams effectively. Thrive in a growing division interacting with clients, contractors, and property managers. Deliver exceptional results in a dynamic construction environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of project management or supervisory experience in cabinetry, countertops, or multi-family construction
- Experience managing new construction installations and occupied unit work (turnovers)
- Strong knowledge of cabinetry and countertop components, installation processes, and layout/design standards
- Ability to accurately measure job sites and create shop drawings
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (oral and written)
- Proficiency with Buildertrend, point-of-sale systems, and MS Office Suite
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel to job sites daily; overnight travel may be required
