In Australia, with over 65 years on major projects, KBR supports critical infrastructure and national security. The role leads procurement for the Guided Weapons & Explosive Ordnance (GWEO) program.
Lead end-to-end procurement, contract management, and industry engagement through workshops, tenders, and forums. Draft and review ASDEFCON contracts, support tender evaluations and negotiations. Manage commercial risks and provide advice on strategies within Defence frameworks.

Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in commercial, procurement, or contracting roles
- Strong knowledge of Defence / Commonwealth procurement frameworks
- Proven experience with ASDEFCON and complex contracts
- Background in tendering, evaluations, and negotiations
- Excellent communication & stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong analytical and risk management capability
- Minimum AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance
- Australian citizenship
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end procurement and contract management activities
- Drive industry engagement (workshops, briefings, tenders, forums)
- Manage CASG elements of Industry Engagement Strategies & Plans
- Draft and review ASDEFCON contracts and procurement documentation
- Support tender evaluations, negotiations, and contract award
- Identify and manage commercial and contractual risks
- Provide expert advice on commercial strategy and submissions
- Deliver guidance on probity, ethics, and compliance frameworks
