Acts Construction is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Master Carpenter / Foreman position. Join our team and grow with us both professionally and personally. Next day pay: Work today, get paid tomorrow with our PayActiv benefit.

In this role, you will be responsible for all basic functions of construction, including but not limited to demolition, cabinetry, metal and wood framing, drywall, finish trim installation, window and door installation, and siding installation. Operates a variety of hand tools, power tools, and other equipment.

Potential to operate as team lead and provide positive direction to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Acts Retirement-Life Communities provides resort-style senior living with on-campus conveniences, services, and amenities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Apprenticeship in carpentry strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 7-10 years' experience in construction or maintenance related field
  • Understanding of blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
  • Knowledge of building codes and safety requirements (OSHA)
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Perform demolition and all basic functions of construction
  • Install cabinetry
  • Build metal and wood framing
  • Install drywall
  • Install finish trim
  • Install windows and doors
  • Install siding
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment
  • Serve as team lead providing positive direction for safe, efficient, high-quality project completion
