About this role

Henkels & McCoy West designs, builds, manages, and maintains critical infrastructure for power, oil & gas pipeline, gas distribution, and communications industries. The Construction Manager handles small to mid-scale construction projects across markets in an assigned region. This role utilizes H&M's Project Management Methodology for all project phases while ensuring success in safety, quality, and performance.

Serve as primary point of contact with customers for assigned contracts, driving operational performance and meeting all requirements. Develop daily work plans with client Project Managers and Job Hazard Analyses with crews. Submit progress reports and time sheets, while overseeing safe job setups, trenching, shoring, crane operations, and rigging.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years’ experience in pipeline construction and fabrication in the Oil & Gas Industry
  • Understand safe trenching and shoring
  • Understand crane operations and rigging
  • Experience managing small to mid-scale construction projects
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies for construction lifecycle
  • Ability to manage third-party resources and overall project performance
  • Familiarity with safety and quality management protocols
  • Proficiency in overseeing project accounting and client interfacing

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the client's Project Manager to develop a work plan for each day’s activity
  • Work directly with Henkels crew to develop Job Hazard Analysis for each day
  • Submit daily progress reports
  • Submit daily time sheets for the crew
  • Set up job tasks in a safe manner to prevent workers from being injured
  • Manage all phases of the construction project lifecycle using H&M's Project Management Methodology
  • Provide direct support to project teams including resolving issues, managing resources, and coordinating projects
  • Interface with client representatives and oversee project accounting, training, mentoring, and coaching
