Senior management brings over 45 years of experience in government construction and environmental services.

The Midwest Senior Project Manager in St. Louis, MO, monitors safety, quality control, and efficiency on projects while developing and managing schedules and budgets. This role ensures compliance with Quality Control Plans, specifications, and contracts by subcontractors and trades, including reviewing and approving submittals. Daily tasks involve tracking project progress to meet schedule and financial objectives.

Interface with clients, internal teams, and subcontractors to deliver quality reports and foster a safety culture alongside Site Supervisors and Safety Officers. Supervise technical staff in maintaining plans, permits, and procedures, while coordinating and reviewing their work for accuracy. Manage subcontractors and handle up to 50% travel to jobsites.

Support business development, proposal preparation, and estimating self-performed or subcontractor work, including labor, equipment, and material costs. Lead efforts in federal construction quality control, such as USACE QA/QC processes and daily reporting. This position offers involvement in diverse environmental remediation and heavy civil construction projects nationwide.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, construction management, or related field; or 20+ years of directly relevant experience managing environmental remediation, heavy civil construction, site restoration, earthwork, subcontractors, schedules, budgets, safety, and quality
  • Experience developing or supporting cost estimates, schedules, subcontractor scopes, labor/equipment/material pricing, cost tracking, and invoicing for environmental remediation and/or construction projects
  • Experience supporting federal construction quality control requirements, including USACE QA/QC processes, Contractor Quality Control Plans, submittals, daily reporting, and field documentation
  • Ability to travel to project sites when required
  • Ability to pass a background check to obtain access to military bases

  • Meet schedule performance and financial objectives by tracking and forecasting project progress and requirements
  • Assist the Site Supervisor and Site Safety Officer to establish a culture of safety on project sites
  • Manage subcontractors and supervise technical staff responsible for plans, permits, and procedures
