These help customers reduce energy consumption, lower costs, and improve air quality and productivity. ALC seeks a Project Manager for onsite projects in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The Project Manager handles daily coordination of approximately 15 projects, including preparing budgets, estimating costs, and maintaining staffing requirements. Responsibilities include gathering data, preparing progress reports, coordinating tasks, and identifying problems. This role ensures efficient project execution in the HVAC controls industry.
Lead project plans, schedules, and budgets while allocating resources and assigning tasks to meet targets. Act as primary customer contact to build relationships and meet needs. Support business development by writing proposals and interacting with client executives.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of Project Management experience
- 1+ years of experience in the HVAC controls industry
- Clean and valid driver’s license
- Capable of climbing ladders or using lift equipment above 8 feet and lifting items up to 50lbs
- Bachelor’s Degree in HVAC (Building Automation Controls) preferred
- PMP Certification preferred
- Able to lead and motivate teams with problem-solving, planning, and project management skills
Responsibilities
- Lead project plans, schedules, and budgets for projects under responsibility and gather resources to ensure completion
- Manage aspects of projects including allocate resources, drive strategic planning, and assign tasks to ensure targets are met
- Prepare reports to communicate project status within the project team
- Set objectives and guide the team to meet project targets, budgets, and milestones
- Identify project problems and recommend solutions such as reallocate resources or change specifications
- Act as primary contact with the customer, develop relationships, and meet demands
- Support the business development team by writing proposals and interacting with client executives
