Provide overall leadership and support for several small projects or one very large project with high complexity. Accountable for safety, budget, quality, schedule, and profitability performance. Oversee projects to ensure construction aligns with design, budget, and schedule.
Supervise, direct, train, and mentor project team, including direct and indirect reports on the same or multiple sites. Manage complex project organizational structure. Attend design management meetings to communicate PCL’s needs and escalate issues.

Requirements
- Postsecondary education or training in engineering, construction management, or related discipline
- 15+ years of progressive experience in construction management
- Proven leadership on complex infrastructure projects
- Experience managing safety, budget, quality, schedule, and profitability
- Knowledge of contract documents and proactive management
- Ability to lead pursuit teams for new work
- Skills in supervising and mentoring project teams
Responsibilities
- Create and influence safety culture as a mentor and model, participating in district safety committee
- Provide overall leadership and support for several small projects or one very large project with high complexity
- Oversee projects to ensure construction is as per design, budget, and schedule
- Lead to secure new work by participating in pursuit/preconstruction team for estimates, proposals, and presentations
- Monitor and manage design deliverable schedule for permits, procurement, shop drawings, and construction
- Attend design management meetings to communicate PCL’s needs and escalate issues
- Supervise, direct, train, and mentor project team on same or multiple sites
- Oversee and negotiate claims/disputes with owner and trade contractors
