The Field Construction Manager I supports all phases of wireless cell site construction, from scope definition to quality assurance.

Requirements

Knowledge of wireless cell site construction phases and project management
Experience coordinating construction crews, subcontractors, and vendors
Familiarity with construction drawings, engineering specifications, and bills of materials
Ability to conduct site assessments and develop risk mitigation plans
Understanding of safety protocols, OSHA standards, and on-site leadership
Proficiency in material logistics, inventory tracking, and procurement
Skills in permitting, inspections, and regulatory compliance for telecom projects
Capability to perform supervisory duties including planning, assigning work, and performance evaluation

Responsibilities

Serve as primary liaison between project management teams and construction crews for seamless communication and timely deliverables
Act as safety leader on-site, ensuring crew adherence to protocols and procedures
Conduct site assessments including pre-construction walks to evaluate conditions, identify risks, and develop mitigation plans
Create detailed bills of materials aligned with drawings, specifications, and project scope
Oversee material logistics including deliveries, inventory, and shortage management
Monitor project progress, report metrics, budget adherence, and milestones to project manager
Manage subcontractor relationships for quality workmanship, timelines, and safety compliance
Ensure permitting, inspections, regulatory compliance, and complete closeout documentation
