Unskilled Operative

We are working closely with Sutton Housing Partnership to appoint an Unskilled Operative on a three-month contract that is highly likely to be extended. The role supports maintenance and repair works across social housing projects while delivering a professional service to tenants.

Daily duties centre on assisting groundworkers, fencers, carpenters and glaziers with labouring tasks. You will load, unload and move materials and equipment while keeping working areas safe and tidy on active sites.

Work takes place inside occupied social housing properties and communal areas. The environment requires consistent reliability, physical effort outdoors in all weather conditions and a professional approach when interacting with tenants.

The contract offers immediate start opportunities with strong potential for extension at the client’s discretion. Successful operatives gain continued site exposure supporting multiple trades on ongoing social housing maintenance programmes.
