The Wood Shop carpenter cuts and shapes materials to achieve the desired appearance for each panel. They also fabricate the blank-out material used within the panels. Safety is our highest priority, built on mutual respect, care, and accountability.

Requirements
- Ability to read and comprehend pour sheets
- Proficiency in operating table saws, band saws, miter saws, and pneumatic nail guns
- Skill in cutting and shaping insulation, blank-out materials, and nailers
- Experience assembling wood components for forms and bulkheads
- Knowledge of sealing wood forms and creating custom blanks or notches
- Capability to prepare materials, set up beds, and drill holes in wood forms
- Commitment to safe tool operation and workplace safety practices
Responsibilities
- Read and comprehend pour sheets
- Cut insulation and blank-out material for panels, as well as nailers for each pour
- Operate table saws, band saws, miter saws, pneumatic nail guns, and other tools safely and efficiently
- Cut and assemble wood components to construct forms and bulkheads for structural and architectural projects
- Seal wood forms when required and create special blanks or notches for projects
- Prepare materials and set up beds, including drilling holes into wood forms
- Assist with or direct special form build-ups as needed
