Join our UK Wastewater Services team supporting water utilities across the UK.
As Project Manager in Dumfries, manage multiple projects from high volume low value to high value low volume. Visit customer sites to carry out audits and manage teams of field technicians. Handle full project lifecycle from quotes and approval to delivery, cost control and invoicing.
Liaise directly with customers for engagement and relationship management. Lead a team of field technicians including work orders, critical path planning and RAMS. Conduct commercial project reviews, monitor costs and author monthly KPI reports on profitability and performance.
Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans with the team. Maximize sales by offering innovative engineering solutions for excellent customer satisfaction. Benefit from training, development, succession planning and a safety-first mindset.
Requirements
- Current valid driving licence
- Engineering background preferred
- Experience working with engineering contracts preferably under NEC3 and NEC4
- Background in M&E or construction projects
- Success delivering engineering projects to tight deadlines
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects from high volume low value to high value low volume
- Visit customer sites, carry out audits, manage teams of field technicians
- Oversee projects from start to finish including quotes, approval, delivery, cost control, supplier engagement and invoicing
- Liaise, engage and manage relationships directly with customers
- Manage team of field technicians, work orders, planning, critical path and RAMS
- Lead commercial project reviews and agree terms for new projects
- Take ownership of accurate cost monitoring and reporting across projects
- Author monthly status and KPI reports on project profitability, performance and sales revenue
