About this role

Bechtel provides project and contract management services to Western Power on the Clean Energy Link Project – North Project. This initiative strengthens the power network north of Perth to connect greater renewable energy supplies, involving 132 kV and 330 kV line upgrades and new terminal construction. Join an integrated team with our customer on this capital works program.

Reporting to the Package Manager, assist with leading delivery of assigned packages by coordinating engineering, field operations, project controls, customer stakeholders, and Principal Contractor team. Provide guidance on constructability, planning, execution, and delivery. Contribute to construction design decisions and facilitate interdisciplinary reviews.

Support project staffing and execution planning within extraordinary teams building inspiring projects since 1898. Serve Infrastructure, Energy, Mining & Metals markets from planning through operations. Align capabilities to customer objectives guided by Bechtel's Vision, Values and Commitments.

Take a lead role developing a team to establish project goals, milestones, priorities, metrics, and execution plans. Monitor construction performance, compliance, and deliverables while ensuring safety, sustainability, quality, and customer requirements integration. Drive continuous improvement via proactive monitoring, innovative solutions, and customer feedback.

Requirements

  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams in construction projects
  • Knowledge of constructability programs and execution planning
  • Familiarity with project controls and stakeholder management
  • Understanding of construction safety, quality, and sustainability integration
  • Ability to facilitate interdisciplinary reviews and design decisions
  • Background in high-voltage power transmission line upgrades
  • Proven skills in monitoring construction performance and deliverables
