About this role
DPR Construction seeks a Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years of commercial construction experience. This role involves ultimate responsibility for day-to-day execution, project controls, project engineering, cost, risk, and business management of particular projects. Focus is on commercial projects in core markets including healthcare, higher education, advanced technology, life sciences, and commercial.
Project Managers handle management of all project team members such as senior project engineers, project engineers, superintendents, and field office coordinators. They serve as the key point of contact with the owner and architect while challenging and supporting the jobsite and self-perform work team. Accountability covers project completion, financials, critical success factors, and customer satisfaction results.
Daily work includes 100% detailed hands-on knowledge of project scope, cost control, billings, collections, change management, cash flows, and monthly status reports. Coordination and management of planning and scheduling execution are essential. Close collaboration occurs with project executives, regional leadership teams, and all project team members.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in commercial construction, preferably within core markets of healthcare, higher education, advanced technology, life sciences, and commercial
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field
- Excellent listening and strong communication skills
- Ability to identify and resolve complex issues
- Ability to create and support team morale
- Demonstrated understanding of building processes and systems
- Complete understanding of cost estimating, budgeting, and forecasting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software (Prolog or similar), accounting cost management software (CMIC or similar), and scheduling software (Primavera or similar)
