About this role

EBC carries out major infrastructure projects including bridges, roads, highways, tunnels, and marine installations. The company contributes to landmark developments such as the Samuel-De-Champlain Bridge, the Réseau Express Métropolitain, and the Site C hydroelectric power station.

Project Managers also support wind farm construction and hydroelectric work on dams, power stations, tunnels, and dikes. EBC is positioned as a leader in these specialized services across Canada.

In this role you will review tender documents and estimates to define scope, scheduling, and planning. You will maintain complete knowledge of drawings, specifications, and addendums while supporting the Site Superintendent.

The position involves extensive travel and offers promotion opportunities within a company executing large-scale infrastructure projects.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of tender documents, drawings, specifications, and addendums
  • Experience coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and consultants on infrastructure projects
  • Ability to perform quantity tracking and cost coding for forecasting
  • Skill in preparing daily progress reports and maintaining document control
  • Capability to conduct site inspections and identify compliance issues

Responsibilities

  • Review tender documents and estimates to determine scope of work, scheduling, and project planning.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of tender documents, drawings, specifications, and addendums to support project success.
  • Provide leadership and maintain effective relationships with clients, staff, subcontractors, consultants, and workers.
  • Inform Senior Project Manager of project development and methods planned to meet schedule and budget.
  • Order critical materials with suppliers in collaboration with the Superintendent.
  • Perform quantity tracking and cost coding for productivity analysis and accurate cost forecasting.
  • Prepare daily reports related to crew, progress, and issues.
  • Provide document control for correspondence, submittals, RFIs, and NCRs.
