Acts Construction is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Carpenter / Journeyman position. In this role, you will be responsible for all basic functions of construction, including demolition, cabinetry, metal and wood framing, drywall, finish trim installation, window and door installation, and siding installation. You will operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and other equipment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Apprenticeship in carpentry is strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in construction or maintenance related field
  • Understanding of blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
  • Knowledge of building codes and safety requirements (OSHA)
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
