About this role
OneEnergy Renewables develops solar energy projects across the United States in community solar, distributed generation, and large utility scale segments. The Assistant Project Manager supports project execution from engineering and procurement phases through commercial operation. Candidates demonstrate success working across development, engineering, construction, and finance functions to meet completion dates.
Coordinate multiple project schedules, budgets, and financial requirements across companywide teams with competing deadlines. Work with engineers and project managers to document specifications and work scopes during planning. Assist with submittal compilation, purchase orders, job walk-throughs, change orders, RFIs, pay applications, and close-out documents.
Prepare project controls, budget setups, schedules of values, and billing mechanisms under Project Manager direction. Provide steady communication while managing schedules, budgets, contractors, risks, and resources. Ensure safety, quality, and environmental policies are followed by all project personnel.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Construction Management or Engineering
- 2+ years of experience supporting operations, engineering or construction
- Solar engineering or construction experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail with high level of integrity and organizational capacity to manage multiple projects
- Self-motivated self-starter with proven ability to take ownership, initiative, and accountability
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written
- Strong quantitative analysis and critical thinking skills
- Working knowledge with Microsoft Office/365 required; project management and CRM software such as Salesforce a plus
- Ability to travel frequently, up to 1-2 weeks per month or 20% of working time; active driver’s license with acceptable record
Responsibilities

- Assist Project Manager(s) with submittal compilation, purchase orders, on-site job walk-throughs, change orders, RFIs, pay application support, and close-out documents
- Prepare project controls, budget setup, schedules of values/billing mechanisms, and maintain each at the direction of the Project Manager(s)
- Provide steady and reliable communication while managing complicated schedules, budgets, contractors, people, risks, and other resources
- Assist in ensuring all safety, quality, and environmental policies of the Company and project owners are followed by all project personnel
