The Project Manager organizes, manages, and plans complex projects for research, development, and product implementation efforts. Responsible for planning and execution of activities related to project delivery.
Leads an interdepartmental team to complete assigned projects on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency. Outlines tasks involved and delegates accordingly while conducting cost analysis and preparing budgets based on estimates. Proactively manages issues, risks, and creates status reports for project success within timeline and budget.
Acts as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors, addressing questions, concerns, and complaints throughout the project. Communicates and collaborates with sales and marketing teams to provide training and information for promoting new projects. Works with 3rd party partners to ensure smooth execution.
Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, and best practices. Conducts risk assessments and reports to management with mitigation recommendations. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field, which may include Computer Science, Business, or Engineering, required
- At least three years of related experience required
- PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications highly desirable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
Responsibilities
