About this role
As Construction Manager - Development, you will provide technical leadership for overregional construction projects while acting as the client's representative. This role involves proactive collaboration with internal and external stakeholders on all technical matters. You will ensure projects meet timelines, quality standards, and budgets through coordinated team efforts.
Day-to-day responsibilities include conceiving project organizations and building external project teams. Define project goals jointly with the team and closely support tendering and awarding processes. Lead negotiations, prepare contract-ready orders, and handle technical coordination of lease agreements.
Work in a dynamic environment with internal teams and external partners, emphasizing decision-making and conflict resolution. Analyze existing properties for usage and optimization potentials, initiating feasibility studies. Ongoing approval of planner and construction bills is key to project success.
Contribute to company growth by creating and developing standards, plus implementing sustainability measures under the MOMENI ESG strategy. This position offers opportunities to apply advanced building construction knowledge in a representative role. Requirements
- Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Industrial Engineering, preferably with real estate focus or construction training
- Initial professional experience in similar position with advanced knowledge in building construction
- Experience in technical due diligence, organization/process consulting, and as client's representative
- Good knowledge of contract law, VOB/B, AHO, and HOAI
- Negotiation skills, conflict management, and decisiveness
- Team player with strong communication, empathy, enthusiasm, assertiveness, and professional demeanor
- Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Good English language skills advantageous
