Join the Construction team to collaborate on purchasing and subcontracting strategies for projects throughout Spain.
As Construction Manager, support integral project management from study to execution phases, reporting to the Project Manager or Director. Provide technical assistance to the commercial team through site visits for data collection and needs evaluation. Standardize processes, improve performance, and manage joint capacities.
Work closely with Design and Studies teams on architecture and installation projects, focusing on office and retail fit-outs. Manage subcontracting by requesting, analyzing bids, creating comparatives, and building strategic supplier relationships. Control costs, planning, and economic closures with clients and providers.
Ensure construction procedures, materials, and finishes meet high quality standards by managing necessary resources. Prepare essential project documentation including measurements, planning, economic controls, minutes, and as-built records. Requirements
- University degree in Architecture / Technical Architect or Engineering / Technical Engineering
- Knowledge and experience in the construction sector
- Around 10 years of experience in similar positions
- Proficiency in MS Office package, Presto, MS Project, AutoCAD, and Revit
- High level of English
- Autonomy, proactivity, and capacity for teamwork
Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance to commercial team with client relations, conducting site visits for data collection and needs evaluation
- Collaborate with Design and Studies teams on architecture and installation projects, mainly interior fit-outs for offices and retail
- Manage subcontracting strategy by requesting, analyzing, and managing supplier bids, performing comparatives, and building strategic relationships
- Control costs, planning, and economic closures with clients and suppliers
- Ensure quality of construction procedures, materials, and finishes on site, managing resources to meet project objectives
- Prepare project documentation throughout lifecycle: measurements, planning, economic control, minutes, as-built documentation
- Support integral management of projects from study to execution phases, reporting to Project Manager or Director
