You will be exposed to multiple areas within the company and develop a diverse skill set that facilitates quality on-time delivery to internal and external customers. Duties include reading and interpreting drawings and written instructions of specialty projects. Perform sanding, woodworking, and assembly of cabinet boxes, doors, and drawers.
Maintain a safe and quality-based effort for any products processed, including cleaning up work area each day per plant safety and house cleaning standards. Load cabinets and parts into trucks safely, ensuring loads are protected and secure. Understand the scope of load contents and locate missing parts to complete shipments.
Primarily support Boulder Mills production operations while serving as a shared manufacturing resource across affiliated operations, providing support to Tharp Cabinets based on workload and priorities. Demonstrate attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment. Process work in a timely, quality-focused manner with other duties as required.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in custom cabinetry and woodworking
- Drawing reading skills

- Ability to stand 75% and walk 15% of the time
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs and adhere to safety policy including PPE
Responsibilities
- Perform specific functions as directed by supervisor to facilitate training and effective output
- Read and interpret drawings and written instructions of specialty projects
- Maintain a safe and quality-based effort for any products that are processed
- Sand and perform woodworking tasks
- Clean up work area each day in accordance with plant safety and house cleaning standards
- Assemble cabinet boxes, doors, and drawers
- Load cabinets and parts into trucks in a safe manner ensuring protection and security
- Locate missing parts needed to complete shipments
