Step into a high-impact role with BC Network Operations (NEO). As part of our Field Construction Management team, drive the success of outside plant infrastructure through expert contractor management and strategic oversight. This role suits a multitasker overseeing planned capital construction scheduling.
Refine processes to outsource and scale assurance response while managing vendor relationships with precision. Use data to improve cost-effectiveness and implement robust strategies ensuring a world-class network. Remove roadblocks and enforce network standards daily.
Collaborate with stakeholders including Project Management, Engineering, and various support teams. Showcase vendor management through performance evaluation and relationship building. Navigate complex challenges proactively in a dynamic environment.
Develop best-in-class processes, tools, and systems like vendor scorecards and KPI reporting. Exhibit a bias for action leading multiple initiatives to keep projects on track. Focus mostly on Lower Mainland with some provincial travel.
Requirements
- 3+ years’ hands-on experience installing and troubleshooting telecom equipment such as Outside Plant infrastructure, Inside Plant Wireline or Wireless telecom equipment
- Understanding of telecommunications standards for physical infrastructure installations (TOPPS)
- Excels in managing multiple projects and deliverables end to end
- Ability to work independently, innovate and identify solutions to complex issues
- Ability to analyze data to prioritize and develop transformational programs and influence KPI performance
- Excels in navigating and thriving within ambiguous environments, demonstrating adaptability and resilience
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
