
About this role
We are an international leader in sustainable construction, driven by a passion for excellence and a commitment to our people. We are looking for five General Operatives to join our growing team at our factory in Cahir, Ireland.
This is a hands-on, physical role assembling structural panels and insulation systems on the factory floor. You will work across assembly, cassette, insulation, and roll former sections using hand and power tools safely.
You will be part of a close-knit, supportive team where clear communication and smooth production flow are key. Health and safety procedures are paramount, including correct use of PPE and prompt reporting of hazards.
No prior experience is required as full training is provided, making this an excellent opportunity to start a career in construction manufacturing. We champion growth and well-being, forming partnerships and pioneering change in our ever-evolving industry.
Requirements
- Leaving Certificate or equivalent secondary education
- Good teamwork, communication, reliability, and punctuality
- Good physical fitness and the ability to carry out manual handling tasks safely
- Proficient in reading and understanding English
- A Manual Handling certificate is essential
- Experience in a construction, manufacturing, or workshop environment is an advantage but not required
Responsibilities
- Assemble structural panels and insulation systems following technical drawings and work instructions
- Work across assembly, cassette, insulation, and roll former sections as required
- Use hand and power tools safely, including rivet guns and drills, in line with health and safety guidelines
- Carry out daily equipment checks and complete timing and quality sheets accurately
- Work closely with your team to maintain clear communication and a smooth production flow
- Always follow all health and safety procedures, including correct use of PPE, and report any hazards, incidents, or machine faults promptly
