About this role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Site Agent to join the team on the Eastern Green Link 2 (EGL2) project, based in Drax, Selby. This major infrastructure project involves constructing a 525kV, 2GW high-voltage direct current (HVDC) subsea transmission cable connecting Peterhead, Scotland, to Drax, Selby, England. BAM Infrastructure is delivering the engineering works for two HVDC converter stations.

In this role, you will oversee the safe and efficient construction delivery of structural steelwork and cladding for the converter station buildings. This ensures all work completes on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. The station includes ten structurally independent buildings such as valve halls, DC halls, reactor halls, transformer enclosures, and a service building, all weatherproofed using a proprietary cladding system.

BAM operates a flexible working policy. People are at the heart of what we do, creating a diverse and inclusive environment that nurtures employees. We recruit the best talent regardless of race, colour, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, or disability.

You will manage and mentor the project team, promote a strong safety culture, and maintain cost-conscious practices. Stay informed on industry developments to drive project success and team growth.
