By joining as a Bricklayer Apprentice, you will shape growing communities near you. You will lay bricks accurately with proper mortar, handle materials like mixing mortar, prepare sites by cleaning and leveling, follow blueprints for layout, cut bricks precisely, finish joints, and adhere to safety regulations.

Requirements
- Ability to lift heavy objects, work on ladders, and maintain good posture for extended periods
- Hand-eye coordination and precision required for accurately placing bricks
- Basic math skills for understanding measurements and calculations for brick layout
- Attention to detail to ensure consistent quality in brickwork
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other construction workers
- Eagerness to absorb knowledge and skills from experienced bricklayers
Responsibilities
- Lay bricks, align them accurately, and ensure proper mortar application
- Load and unload bricks, mix mortar, and prepare materials for use
- Clean work areas, remove debris, and assist with leveling
- Follow blueprints and mark brick placement according to project specifications
- Utilize tools to cut bricks to precise dimensions when needed
- Apply finishing touches to brickwork, including pointing joints
- Adhere to all safety regulations on the construction site
