About this role

Join Rydon Maintenance's housing repairs team as an experienced Plasterer with Bricklaying skills. Work in a mobile role carrying out internal and external upgrades, maintenance, responsive repairs, and void works in residential properties. This full-time permanent position supports a local housing association contract.

Deliver high-quality plastering, bricklaying, and other works across maintenance, repair, and voids projects. Use a company van, fuel card, and PDA to accept jobs, plan schedules, and sign off completed works. Hours are 8:00am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Requirements

  • Experience in plastering, bricklaying, and other trades
  • Previous experience working within the social housing environment (preferred)
  • City & Guilds/NVQ in relevant trade
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Ability to communicate confidently with residents

Responsibilities

  • Carry out brick/blockwork for repairs, pointing and remedial works
  • Mix, prepare, and apply plaster, render, and finish coats to ceilings and walls
  • Undertake repairs to floor and/or wall tiling
  • Perform mould treating to rectify damp
  • Carry out internal/external painting
  • Accept jobs via PDA, plan schedules, and sign off works when completed
  • Travel to residential properties using company van and fuel card
