About this role

As a Carpenter / Measure Technician, you will be responsible for accurately measuring the customer’s home for installations and completing service jobs to ensure customer satisfaction. This hands-on role focuses on home improvements including repairs to windows, siding, and sunrooms. Join a national company that designs, builds, installs, and guarantees its products.

Day-to-day duties include measuring for products at customer homes and interacting with homeowners to service their home-improvement needs. Order and track repair and installation services while assisting management with reporting and communication as requested. Safely perform all aspects of the job in compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED preferred, construction trade school a plus
  • 3 to 5 years in home improvement / construction involving carpentry, roofing and window installation
  • Experience in the use of a brake, and other hand tools such as a utility knife, hammer, deglazing tools, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Math skills including using a tape measure and angles
  • Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
