The Residential Carpenter assists in safe and effective installations following Company SOPs and PPE protocol while providing a 5-star customer experience.

Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 AM Monday-Friday to load materials and trucks. Travel to the customer’s home, greet them, and establish rapport. Remove existing window/door space, install replacement windows and exterior doors, replace trim, clean up thoroughly, collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.

Compensation starts at approximately $17-$20 per hour based on background, skills, and location. Requirements

Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing, construction – or a hunger to learn
Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
Valid smart phone or smart device for two-factor authentication into Company systems
Ability to travel daily to customer homes in Grand Rapids area
Capacity to lift and carry installation materials
Attention to detail for precise window and door installations
Commitment to safe work practices and customer home care

Responsibilities

Arrive at warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks
Travel to customer’s home, greet them, and establish rapport
Remove existing window/door space and install replacement windows and exterior doors
Replace trim around installations
Clean up thoroughly, showing care for the customer’s home
Collect paperwork and payment, then return to warehouse
Follow all Company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and PPE protocol
Provide customers with a 5-star experience
