The Residential Carpenter assists in safe and effective installations following Company SOPs and PPE protocol while providing a 5-star customer experience.

Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 AM Monday-Friday to load materials and trucks. Travel to the customer’s home, greet them, and establish rapport. Remove existing window/door space, install replacement windows and exterior doors, replace trim, clean up thoroughly, collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.

Compensation starts at approximately $17-$20 per hour based on background, skills, and location. Requirements

  • Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing, construction – or a hunger to learn
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
  • Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
  • Valid smart phone or smart device for two-factor authentication into Company systems
  • Ability to travel daily to customer homes in Grand Rapids area
  • Capacity to lift and carry installation materials
  • Attention to detail for precise window and door installations
  • Commitment to safe work practices and customer home care

Responsibilities

  • Arrive at warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks
  • Travel to customer’s home, greet them, and establish rapport
  • Remove existing window/door space and install replacement windows and exterior doors
  • Replace trim around installations
  • Clean up thoroughly, showing care for the customer’s home
  • Collect paperwork and payment, then return to warehouse
  • Follow all Company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and PPE protocol
  • Provide customers with a 5-star experience
