About this role

You take responsibility for construction management within one of 50Hertz's largest cable trench projects. Lead a team of site managers, specialist supervisors, and specialists. Apply your construction experience, organizational skills, and strategic thinking to build the power grid of the future.

Assume overall responsibility for all project contents in projects like SuedOstLink+ or NordOstLink. Build a project organization from subprojects for operational control of construction sites. Strategically lead the team, contractors, up to 50 internal and external participants, and 500+ site personnel.

Handle preparation and operational steering of sites focused on linear trench construction and special civil engineering. Develop and ensure construction, assembly, installation, and erection concepts. Comply with HSE, quality standards, permitting, and execution planning while procuring service support.

Plan projects from first on-site activities to final assembly checks for on-time, quality execution. Identify acceleration potentials, assess and minimize risks, and manage budget and schedules. Create detailed construction sequences, deployment plans, and prioritize to prevent disruptions and claims.

Requirements

Successfully completed Master's or Diploma in Civil Engineering - Construction Operations Management or Industrial Engineering with Construction focus, or equivalent
Relevant professional experience in planning and operational site control of large infrastructure projects with extensive spatial coverage and high investment volumes
Experience leading large teams
Proficient in MS Office and basic knowledge of project management tools
Driver's license and willingness for site visits and business trips
Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form (C1)
