About this role

Plan, layout, and install concrete forms, rebar, and anchor bolts for flat foundations, spread footers, and drilled piers in accordance with plans and specifications. Place and finish concrete to meet project requirements.

Operate equipment such as skid steer, mini excavator, back hoe, and forklift. Hand dig ditches and holes, and assemble, set, and brace concrete forms using proficient hand tool skills.

Follow safety procedures and report violations. Participate in daily pre-job briefings to mitigate or eliminate hazards, and maintain an organized, clean job site including work areas and tool trailers.

Provide on-the-job training to coworkers and read concrete drawings and specifications. Travel to remote jobsites across the US as required, working in extreme weather conditions and noisy environments.

Requirements

  • 3 years of working as a carpenter or finisher
  • Knowledge of concrete industry standards and practices
  • Proficient use of all required hand tools
  • Capable to receive and follow verbal directions
  • Capable of working well with others as a team
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Self-motivating with eagerness to grow (preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (preferred)
