About this role

RESPEC is seeking an engineer to support design and project management services at the Dallas, Texas office located in Richardson. This role contributes to water resources engineering projects including planning, designing, management, and specialty services, and may contribute to other civil engineering projects.

The position requires coordinating with multiple clients, review agencies, and design team members on an ongoing basis. Responsibilities include proposal writing, budgeting, and project financial management while consistently producing high-quality work that meets requirements and delivers on schedule.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering or a related engineering field
  • Professional Engineer license in Texas or ability to obtain within six months
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience designing engineering projects for public sector clients, including 3 years with project management responsibilities
  • Skilled in coordinating with multiple clients, review agencies, and design team members
  • Proficient with proposal writing, budgeting, and project financial management
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Support design and project management services for water resources engineering projects
  • Contribute to planning, designing, management, and specialty services for public sector clients
  • Coordinate with multiple clients, review agencies, and design team members on an ongoing basis
  • Manage proposal writing, budgeting, and project financial management
  • Develop construction plan packages and stormwater master planning studies
  • Provide construction oversight of project installations
  • Manage teams of engineers and develop early career engineers
