As an Apprentice Bricklayer, attend college to fulfill the apprenticeship curriculum and complete log books to the highest standards.

Work with tradesmen in an effective, safe and helpful manner, undertaking tasks as directed. Report issues to your appointed mentor and co-operate with colleagues, Supervisors and Management. Ensure safe operation of plant, equipment and tools, always following Health and Safety Regulations.

Requirements

  • Genuine interest in Bricklaying
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Methodical approach
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Dedication and ambition to develop with the role
  • Some level of experience in Bricklaying preferred

Responsibilities

  • Attend college as required to fulfill the apprenticeship curriculum within the allotted timescale
  • Ensure all apprenticeship log books and relevant documents are completed on time to the highest standards
  • Report any issues or problems raised at college or on site to appointed mentor
  • Work with tradesmen in an effective, safe and helpful manner
  • Undertake tasks as directed by relevant trades people
  • Complete paperwork on tasks completed and weekly timesheets
  • Ensure safe operation of all plant, equipment and tools
  • Report all accidents and incidents as appropriate
