In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation and execution of all construction management aspects on a Bechtel mining project site for key customers in the Middle East mining and metals sector. You will manage direct reports and lead interdisciplinary teams to plan and execute site activities. Execution will occur safely, on schedule, with high quality, and in a cost-efficient manner using corporate processes.

Requirements

Experience in construction management on mining project sites in the metals sector
Ability to manage direct reports and lead interdisciplinary teams
Knowledge of planning and executing site activities safely, on schedule, and cost-efficiently
Familiarity with corporate construction processes and procedures
Skills in developing construction execution and staffing plans
Proficiency in conducting constructability reviews and evaluating execution methods
Understanding of EPC services for commodities like Iron Ore, Bauxite, Copper, and Gold

Responsibilities

Lead the team to develop and document the project Construction execution plans in collaboration with the Project Manager and functional teams including Engineering, Project Controls, ES&H, and Supply Chain
Develop and maintain the Construction Staffing plan to execute the works in collaboration with project controls
Attend customer site visits and provide execution strategies as part of construction strategy development
Review and evaluate new methods and concepts for proposal project execution
Provide consultation, technical guidance, and direction to Construction and other support functions
Perform Project Constructability Reviews
Develop standard construction methodologies
Oversee the review of construction-related documents and ensure safe, on-schedule execution
