Handle day-to-day commercial responsibilities across the full project lifecycle from contract negotiation to cost reporting. Manage contracts in line with NEC 4 Options A, B, C and E. Conduct subcontractor negotiations, payment applications, forecasting, and performance tracking for clients and subcontractors.
Team of highly skilled specialists deliver innovative solutions to complex challenges faced by clients. Key strength in delivering projects nationally while engaging local communities through local employment and training. Develop pride in work and achieve leading performance levels across projects.
Contribute to project success through risk management, site visits, and accurate reporting like Cost Value Reconciliation and Earned Value Analysis. Requirements
- BSc in Quantity Surveying or a related commercial field
- Professional membership status desirable (RICS, ICES)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong emphasis on Excel
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Ability to produce accurate work under tight deadlines
- Previous experience in the water industry
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel as required
- Effective communication and people skills
Responsibilities
- Manage contracts in line with NEC 4 (Options A, B, C & E)
- Handle subcontractor negotiations and contract management
- Prepare applications for payments for both client and subcontractors
- Forecast and track performance for clients and subcontractors
- Manage project risks, reviewing day-to-day project risks
- Conduct site visits for monthly AFP and sub-contract assessments
- Create and manage cost to completes to inform project position
- Deliver accurate and timely budget, cost, and change reporting
- Produce monthly Cost Value Reconciliation and Earned Value Analysis reports
