The Quantity Surveyor I position supports core quantity surveying functions within construction projects. Key activities include preparing quantity take-offs and bills of quantities derived from drawings and specifications while supporting cost estimation and project budgeting processes.

Daily tasks include verifying contractor bills and preparing interim payment certificates for ongoing work. Maintaining detailed project cost records, reports, and essential documentation forms a critical part of the responsibilities.

Coordination with site engineers and project teams ensures proper measurement and progress verification at all stages. Site measurements and quantity verification of completed work help maintain project integrity and accuracy.

Requirements

Knowledge of construction drawings and project specifications
Familiarity with bill of quantities preparation methods
Understanding of cost estimation techniques in building trades
Ability to verify contractor bills and payment certificates
Experience with tender document preparation
Proficiency in maintaining project documentation and reports

Responsibilities
