Your day-to-day involves guiding the construction and installation of electro-optical test stations from concept through commissioning. You develop and maintain comprehensive equipment documentation, including schematics and maintenance procedures, and manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs.

Requirements

BS degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline
3+ years of experience in equipment construction, maintenance, or manufacturing engineering
Hands-on experience building and troubleshooting electrical/optical test stations
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

Guide the construction and installation of electro-optical test stations from concept through commissioning.
Develop and maintain comprehensive equipment documentation, including schematics and maintenance procedures.
Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs for test and assembly equipment.
Support assembly equipment for packaged photonic integrated circuits (TROSAs) through alignment and tooling.
Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for equipment procurement and integration.
Collaborate with engineers to ensure equipment meets performance specifications.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for equipment reliability and safety.
Train and mentor technicians on equipment operation and troubleshooting.
