Join JASARA PMC as a Senior Quantity Surveyor and become a crucial part of a team that shapes the future of construction project management. In this role, you will manage financial and contractual aspects of construction projects. Ensure efficient resource allocation and project profitability while contributing to exceptional project outcomes.

Oversee all quantity surveying functions throughout the project lifecycle, including planning, execution, and closure. Prepare detailed estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents in accordance with project requirements. Lead the cost management process with regular cost analyses and cost-saving strategies.

Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and budget adherence. Manage contractual negotiations, variations, and claims in a timely and effective manner. Conduct site visits for progress assessments and compliance with specifications.

Mentor and support junior quantity surveyors, fostering a collaborative learning environment. Your expertise will drive efficient resource use and profitability in high-stakes construction projects. Contribute significantly to delivering outstanding results in a dynamic team setting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a relevant field
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry
  • Professional certification such as MRICS or equivalent is highly regarded
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement processes, and cost management techniques
  • Proficient in relevant software for quantity surveying and project management
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising effectively with clients, contractors, and team members
