Greenvolt is a leading renewable energy company committed to delivering 100% green power through diverse technologies including forest residues, wind, and solar energy. We are seeking a Site Manager to oversee construction sites, ensure project compliance and quality, coordinate with subcontractors, and support licensing and commissioning processes.

The Site Manager will play a key role in project planning, monitoring, and reporting, working closely with internal teams and external partners. Day-to-day operations include overseeing construction activities, managing subcontractors and suppliers, and ensuring work is completed per project plans and schedules.

This role involves leading site meetings, liaising with clients, engineers, and stakeholders, and enforcing health and safety policies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive attitude to learning and share knowledge with team members.

This position offers an opportunity to grow within a leading renewable energy company, with exposure to diverse technologies such as forest residues, wind, and solar. The successful candidate will proactively develop technical skills, keep pace with industry trends, and may need to travel and stay overnight as projects span multiple locations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on renewable energy projects preferred.
  • Relevant certifications in construction management and health and safety.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Flexibility to travel and stay overnight as required.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety requirements.
  • Proactive development of technical skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations on the construction site.
  • Coordinate and manage all subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Implement and enforce health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular quality inspections and audits.
  • Manage site resources, including labour, materials, and equipment.
  • Liaise with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including daily logs and progress reports.
  • Monitor project expenditures and ensure they remain within budget.
