Colliers is a leading commercial real estate services company providing brokerage, management, valuation, consulting, project management and research across office, industrial, retail, hotel and specialised property types. We seek an experienced Senior Cost Manager for the Enterprise Project Management team with strong background in corporate fit-out and occupier-led projects. This senior client-facing role leads cost management for UK and EMEA corporate portfolios, shaping commercial strategy.

Undertake cost management services for UK and EMEA corporate clients, providing budgeting advice at feasibility for new projects. Produce and present best in class cost reports to corporate clients. Ensure Project Management and Cost Management instructions follow service agreements consistently.

Work with Enterprise Project Management team to create and maintain best practice for Occupier Services across EMEA. Regularly interact with 650 Project managers, Building Surveyors and Cost Managers across EMEA plus OS EMEA team of 130 including transaction managers and workplace advisors.

As senior member of Cost Management community, mentor colleagues and support multi-market bids. Drive best practice across EMEA Occupier Services platform. Deliver consistent best-in-class outcomes for global occupier clients.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in cost management for corporate fit-out / occupier projects, ideally within a consultancy or professional services environment
  • Proven ability to operate confidently with blue-chip corporate clients and senior stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of commercial offices and workplace delivery across the UK and/or EMEA
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Strong commercial acumen, organisation and time management skills
  • High level of IT literacy, particularly MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience supporting multi-country or global client portfolios
  • Professional qualification (e.g. MRICS or equivalent)

Responsibilities

  • Lead pre and post-contract cost management services for corporate fit-out and workplace projects including offices, labs, call centres and flexible workplace environments
  • Provide strategic cost advice at feasibility and business case stage including option appraisals, cost planning and value engineering
  • Produce and present clear, robust and commercially focused cost reports to senior corporate stakeholders
  • Manage project financials from inception through close-out including change control, risk management and final account settlement
  • Act as a trusted commercial advisor to clients balancing cost, quality, programme and risk
  • Undertake cost management services for UK and EMEA corporate clients
  • Assist with bids for Cost Management multi-market mandates across UK and EMEA
