About this role
The Precast Construction Carpenter is a key position at Jensen Infrastructure. You will construct, erect, install and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard, using carpenter's hand tools and power tools. Reporting to the production supervisor, you’ll work on a close-knit team where effective communication is imperative.
A highlight of your day-to-day includes maintaining a safe and clean work environment by returning tools to proper storage and performing routine housekeeping. You will assemble and fasten materials to make frameworks or forms, build or repair cabinets, doors, and other wooden fixtures. Additionally, install structures like windows and frames, repair damaged parts, and study blueprints to verify dimensions and trueness.
You’re enthusiastic and motivated in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working with your hands, and take pride in completing tasks. Jensen Infrastructure builds culverts, underground utility boxes, and manholes impacting daily life across Nevada, California, Arizona, Washington, Missouri, and Hawaii. Enjoy close relationships and camaraderie of a small company within a larger, well-established growing organization.
