About this role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team. You will construct, install, repair, and maintain various wooden structures and fixtures across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential.

Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting blueprints to determine project requirements, measuring and cutting materials, and assembling wood according to plans. Install fixtures like doors, windows, cabinets, stairs, and molding using hand tools, power tools, and machinery. Repair damaged parts while ensuring compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project success, estimate materials, and manage inventory. Maintain tools in good condition and follow procedures to meet timelines and budgets. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Carpenter, preferably in a similar construction environment
Proficiency in using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery
Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and safety practices
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Excellent measurement and mathematical skills
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality craftsmanship
Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials according to project plans
Install structures and fixtures such as doors, windows, cabinets, stairs, and molding
Repair or replace damaged or defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery
Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project success
Estimate and procure materials required for each project and manage inventory
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
