About this role

We are seeking a Construction Manager to oversee the successful execution of community-scale solar construction projects. This role leads field operations and coordinates project execution from mobilization through commissioning.

You will manage one or multiple active projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Monitoring progress and proactively addressing field challenges that may impact execution is a core part of the day-to-day.

You will provide leadership and direction to Superintendents, Foremen, subcontractors, and field crews. Fostering accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement across project teams while maintaining a strong field presence is essential.

This role serves as the primary field representative for customers, landowners, utilities, inspectors, and local authorities. You will build strong relationships through responsive communication and professional project execution, supporting customer satisfaction and long-term business relationships.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of construction management experience, preferably within solar, renewable energy, utility, civil, or industrial construction
  • Proven experience managing construction schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and field operations
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and project execution practices
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work directly with customers, contractors, and external stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day field operations for community-scale solar projects from mobilization through commissioning
  • Manage one or multiple active construction projects depending on size and complexity
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address field challenges that may impact execution
  • Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across all project sites
  • Conduct regular site visits, inspections, and audits to verify quality and progress
  • Provide leadership, direction, and support to Superintendents, Foremen, subcontractors, and field crews
  • Serve as a primary field representative for customers, landowners, utilities, inspectors, and local authorities
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to develop and maintain construction schedules and monitor costs
