Construct Services is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their Queensland operations, delivering high-quality insurance repair and construction projects across the Gold Coast. This hands-on role is based live onsite at a resort-style project, operating Monday to Friday.

The Site Manager takes ownership of daily onsite delivery, coordinating subcontractors and managing site activities to ensure safe, on-schedule, and within-budget outcomes. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for liaising with project delivery teams and resort stakeholders.

Working closely with the Project Manager, the successful candidate will maintain compliance with WHS legislation and quality standards in occupied, live operating environments. This role requires a professional who thrives in a fast-paced setting and can manage multiple trades effectively.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager or Senior Supervisor within commercial, insurance, remedial, or refurbishment construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of Queensland construction and WHS legislation
  • Ability to manage live environments and stakeholder-sensitive projects
  • Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
  • High level of professionalism and accountability
  • Ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a wider project team
  • Sound computer literacy and reporting capability
  • Relevant Queensland construction qualifications and licences, including QBCC Supervisors or Builders Licence

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily onsite construction activities across allocated projects
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel
  • Work collaboratively with the Project Manager to achieve project milestones and programme outcomes
  • Ensure all works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications, scope, and quality standards
  • Maintain safe work practices and ensure full compliance with WHS legislation and site safety requirements
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively resolve onsite issues
  • Liaise professionally with clients, consultants, resort management, and occupants
  • Support practical completion, defect management, and handover activities
