About this role
EPMA seeks a hands-on Industrial Construction Manager to support capital projects across Gulf Coast facilities from Houston, TX to Baton Rouge, LA. The role focuses on field execution, contractor coordination, and installation of processing equipment. Work occurs in active plant and industrial environments, requiring strong industrial and mechanical experience beyond traditional vertical construction.
Day-to-day involves managing field execution of industrial construction projects and coordinating contractors, vendors, and on-site trades. Oversee installation of processing and mechanical equipment while monitoring schedule, budget, quality, and safety compliance. Conduct site inspections to resolve field issues in real time.
Operate in dynamic active plant environments with high travel across Gulf Coast sites, ensuring adherence to OSHA and environmental standards. Coordinate extensively with project leadership and PMO for progress updates. Comfort in industrial settings and extensive travel across Texas and Louisiana is essential.
Support project lifecycle through commissioning, startup, and closeout phases. Gain exposure to waste or environmental industry projects, rail or terminal facilities, mechanical systems, process piping, and plant expansions. Utilize tools like Procore or MS Project for enhanced project management.
Requirements
- 5 to 10 plus years of industrial construction or capital project experience
- Strong field-based construction management background
- Experience with processing equipment installation
- Proven contractor and vendor coordination experience
- Comfortable working in active plant or industrial environments
- Willingness to travel extensively across Texas and Louisiana
- Waste or environmental industry experience (preferred)
- Experience with Procore or MS Project (preferred)
