About this role
As a Batcher/Plant Operator, you will be at the heart of concrete production processes, ensuring the plant runs smoothly and efficiently. You’ll operate fixed and mobile plant, batch concrete to order, monitor production metrics, and handle cleaning and yard duties. Be an effective team member, identifying and resolving issues in a dynamic environment.
Your day involves accurate batching of orders to specified mix designs using dedicated programs and systems. Safely operate front-end loader to weigh up materials for batching, and manage day-to-day administration including stock control and monthly forecasts. Participate in safety initiatives like pre-starts, toolboxes, and incident reporting, plus general yard housekeeping.
Work in a safety-critical environment as part of a supportive team. Individuals with experience in concrete batching, front-end loaders, forklifts are encouraged to apply. Flexibility is key to cover various plant responsibilities.

Requirements
- Experience in concrete batching
- Experience operating front end loaders
- Experience operating forklifts
- Experience working within a safety critical environment
- Interest in the concrete industry as full training will be provided
- Sound computer skills working with multiple systems and safety reporting
- Flexibility and willingness to cover several responsibilities across the plant
