About this role

Must have standard knowledge and a range of trade-specific capabilities critical for the construction, maintenance and repairs of building structures and systems. Possess standard knowledge of tools and equipment. This role ensures efficient operations in building trades.

Performs detailed inspections, installations, and building repairs through standard knowledge of trade-specific techniques. Utilizes tools and equipment to efficiently complete installation and repair tasks. Coordinates and collaborates extensively with trade-specific systems for specialized assignments.

Collects, analyzes, and interprets data on machine operation to propose actions minimizing risk and enhancing performance. Performs regular maintenance checks on equipment and systems, identifying defects or inefficiencies promptly. Assesses resources, supplies, and staffing needed to complete tasks.

Performs the demolition of building elements and cleans up areas as needed. Maintains standard working knowledge of construction practices and techniques. Stays updated with relevant trade-specific safety procedures.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-3 years of technical experience, required
  • Must be able to carry 60 lbs
  • Valid NY State driver’s license, required
  • Standard knowledge of trade-specific techniques
  • Standard knowledge of tools and equipment
  • Knowledge of construction practices and techniques
  • Familiarity with trade-specific safety procedures
