About this role
Yurra is seeking full-time Mobile Plant Operators to join rail maintenance and civil works teams on the Rio Tinto Pilbara rail network. Operate various mobile plant machinery to deliver high-quality project outcomes with a safety-first mindset. Prioritizing local Karratha-based candidates on a Monday to Thursday roster.
Daily tasks involve handling equipment like Excavator, Skid Steer, Watercart, and Tipper for rail and civil projects. Maintain solid knowledge of tools, equipment, and safety practices while demonstrating strong attention to detail and task ownership. Enthusiastic and reliable attitude ensures smooth operations in demanding Pilbara conditions.

Requirements
- HR-class or HC-class Australian driver’s licence
- Nationally recognised plant tickets (e.g. Excavator, Skid Steer, Watercart, Tipper)
- Construction White Card
- Ability to pass a Category 3 Rail Medical
- Solid knowledge of tools, equipment, and safety practices
- Strong attention to detail and task ownership
- Enthusiastic and reliable attitude
- RTIO Inducted (including M1 Rail Supervised Worker Card) preferred
